Well I tell you what. I will support you the best I can, whenever I am with you I will choose not to eat meat either. I will be what they call a lacto-ovo vegetarian. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lacto-ovo_vegetarianism

Hmm as far as meals go. I recommend stuffed bell peppers, stuffed with a spanish rice, and cheeses. Another good and simple choice is either making from scratch or buying a can of vegetarian chili, and making cornbread to go with it. mmmm yummm.

Amy just made a wonderful dish called Split-Pea Rarebit, You should come over sometime and we can have something yummy.

don, i'm proud to say that ever since i wrote that first thing, i have not eaten any kind of animal other than eggs, but those aren't really animals, because they haven't really started to develop yet. but i have started to run out of ideas for meals i can have for dinner. i have food that i can use as backup though, like fettuccine alfredo (which is my absolute favorite food), salad (of course), and quesadillas. i've looked at a bunch of different sites but i only found a few recipes that actually sounded edible. oh well... i did think that it MUST have been in the bible somewhere. BUT don it did not say to bite a pig in half... it said to "kill and eat"... so there!!

Well Ariana

First let me say sorry for the late reply I was on vacation. During my formative years, that sounds so professional, I was a vegetarian. I didn't do it because God said to or because I believed the animals I was eating were rotting carcasses, I did it because I was trying to impress a girl. Okay so not the best reason to change your diet, but it was why I did it.

During that time I faced the challenge of dealing with a family that enjoyed meat, and also friends that thought I was crazy. It was very difficult but I lasted about a year. I stopped because I decided that I liked to eat meat. Now there are benefits to both eating styles. I felt healthier when I was a vegetarian, not at first mind you, but after about 3 months I had more energy and slept better, or at least that is how I remembered it. It took me awhile to get use to meat again, but once I did I felt better and not as hungry through out the day.

Well in my opinion I guess I would say that I am glad I attempted the vegetarian lifestyle, and would say that you should discuss it with your family and see if they will support you. I suspect yoru brother would give you a hard time. It was actually a pepperoni pizza that killed my vegetarianism. mmm pepperoni.

Did you notice, how when God first created the world, he gave all the animals of the world food: plants, plants, and plants. did I metion plants???
I personally didn't see the part where he said "Before this seventh day, during which I will rest, i'd like to tell you one more thing. whenever you see a pig walking around feel free to take a huge bite out of it's side," but i may have just missed that part on accident.

DON, I'm thinking of becoming a vegetarian... what do you think?? The only reason that I havn't become one before is because it would be really hard with a family like mine who has a cute, and yet very unlucky, dead animal for every meal. I mean I know I can't change them, but I just don't think I can swallow one more rotting carcass.(ok, maybe it isn't actually rotting when I eat it) Do you think I could suvive as a vegetarian, don??? Of course you do know I could ever go to the extent of veganism, because i'm sorry to say i'm not THAT crazy... oh well. so don, please give me your opinion on my future diet.
